Uganda national team defender, Murushid Juuko, has officially signed a three-year contract to play Wydad of Casablanca in Morocco.
The former Tanzanian giants Simba SC player, joins former KCCA FC striker Patrick Kaddu, who last week signed at Berkane in the same country.
Juuko’s capabilities seduced the leaders of the club Bidaoui, who wanted to strengthen their team’s defense, following show at finals of the Afcon 2019 in Egypt.
Several national team players have benefited from The Cranes’ appearance at Afcon 2019.
Former Uganda Cranes’ Coach Sébastien Desabre, who too, left to join Egypt’s Pyramids FC, is said to have recommended Juuko to Wyad, according to French Online Communiqué de presse.
Juuko is Wydad’s fourth signing after Ayoub El Kaabi, Haitam El Bahja, and Ibrahim Najm Eddine.
Meanwhile, former UPDF FC and SC Villa midfielder, Sulaiman Majanjalo has joined Rwandan side –Sunrise on a two-year contract.
Majanjalo re-unites Coach Moses Basena, whom he previously handled at UPDF. Majanjolo joins Pius Wangi at the same club.
