UPL: Express Fc thump BUL FC to go third

Express Fc disciplined BUL FC 4-0 away at Kyabazinga stadium on Saturday, 20th February 2021 to go third on the table.
Kayiwa Ibrahim, Ssenkaba George, Arthur Kigundu and Murushid Juuko registered their names on the score sheet for the Red Eagles (Express Fc).
Wasswa Bossa’s boys took the lead as early as the 11th minute from defender Murushid Juuko when nodded in Godfrey Lwesibawa’s corner hence 1-0.
In the 32nd minute, Express got a free kick outside the box after BUL FC’s goalkeeper Abdul Kimera handled the ball in the forbidden area, Arthur Kigundu took the responsibility and slotted the ball straight to the net making the score line 2-0 for the visitors.
Three minutes to the half time break, on form Ssenkaba George made it 3-0 heading in Lwesibawa’s well calculated cross.
This was Ssenkaba’s third goal of the season since he joined the Red Eagles from Kitara Fc.
Teams went for the break with the visitors enjoying a 3-0 confortable lead.
In the second stanza, the home side looked solid in defense and with threats upfront on the visitors goal but nothing yielded with the score line remaining 3-0.
The final goal of the match came in the 75th from Kayiwa Ibrahim being assisted by Eric Kambale, hence 4-0. This was Kayiwa’s first goal of the season.
Finally the referee William Oloya ended the game with the visitors (Express Fc) walking away with all the three points after a 4-0 confortable win.
Express Fc’s Arthur Kigundu was voted as the man of the match.
This was Express Fc’s fourth win of the season from eight matches taking them to 16 points, 3rd on the table.
BUL FC remained at 7 points from 8 matches and 12th on the log.
The Red Eagles (Express Fc) next fixture will be on Tuesday, 23rd away to MYDA FC at King George stadium in Tororo. 

BUL FC will travel to St Mary’s stadium Kitende to take on Vipers SC on the same day.
