Officials and players unveil the championship.

The number of times of times Dynamic SS has been in the ‘dock’ for flouting different school competitions regulations has reached unimaginable levels.

The Copa Coca-Cola National Organising Committee that assembled at Lugogo, this Holy Thursday, upheld the Mukono district, earlier decision to ban Dynamic for one year.

The Mukono based school had taken part in the district championships, with a ban on their head, forcing Bishop SS-Mukono to appeal to the National Organising Committee.

Dynamic officials had somehow managed have the one-year suspension lifted, after appealing to the head-teachers’ forum.

“In the Bishop SS v Dynamic (SS case), heard today; it’s ordered that Dynamic serves the one year ban they have never served,” wrote Kennedy Mutenyo, one of the members on the Copa Coca-Cola National Organising Committee, on his facebook timeline.

He further clarified to this reporter that the ruling does not affect the qualifiers of Mukono Region, where St. John, Mukono, St. Andrew’s Lugazi and Lugazi Homeland had booked slot in finals to be staged at Jinja College, Butiki, starting on May 6.

Most of the regions have already finalised with their qualifier, save for Acholi and Kabarole who play during the Easter weekend.

The Jinja edition is expected to attract over 50 schools, from different parts of the country.

Buddo SS won last year’s event hosted by Mbarara High.
