U17 Afcon qualifiers: Mutyaba Grants Uganda a Back to Back CECAFA U-17 Championship

Danger man Mutyaba Travis went through a forest of legs as he beat up Tanzania agements in the U-17 CECAFA championship in a final played today at Umuganda stadium, Rwanda.
The teenager ran the riot throughout afternoon as he fed lethal finisher Mawa in conjunction with Mbabazi Ivan but the Tanzanians put up a good fight throughout halftime as it changed goalless.
The CABS came back strong until the 62 minute when Solitilo Bright stars and Royal Giants SS player rose high and headed in a cross provided by Isa Bugembe that put Uganda into a lead.
Abdul Karim Kiswanya was booked first in the 71 minute for an indiscipline tackle against Mutyaba who carried on defenders throughout the evening as Rwanda fans were left with no chance but to give a standing ovation to the young lad.
With CABS in the driving seat, Tanzanian Kijja Rida was taken off for Abudallah Hassan with only 14 minutes remaining on the clock .
Limping Mutyaba tackled earlier on with his landmark short passes continued to shine more brightly, let Hassan Mubiru who released Oscar Mawa but he struck off target.
Coach Hamza Lutalo went for KCCA FC lad Mwanje Elvis Eddy as Express fc’s Isa Masembe had faded out and called off to rest his services.
Immediately on Mwanje’s arrival, team captain Ibrahim Juma connected to again magician Mutyaba to Hassan who provided it at the far post to meet Bugembe but never rose high and the goal went begging.

Life came back to the game as Uganda roamed around with the white all day all evening.
Mutyaba was too yellow carded for a poor shoe combative tackle on on captain Ladaba Chasambi.
Two minutes still ticking, Mulema Vicent of Uganda found his own net , an own goal any sportsman will wish to watch for a fourtnight.
Restless Mutyaba with a lions’ heart again showcased character and produced a different piece of magic into the penalty area as he was knocked down by Tanzanian defender, penalty awarded and as usual penalty taker Ibrahim Juma converted it nicely and made it 3-1 late as it timed out for full time .
“We have finally brought it home . It was at first U-20 and now U-17, the senior team now it’s your task to qualify. We have to maintain our structures for this team until we go to Morocco come 2021 and after as it goes through the ranks,” chief de missal Isa Magoola revealed .
Uganda won this title in 2018 , 2020 and for this year it was a special case, Cecafa and U-17 Afcon qualifiers a two in one achievement in a back to back victory.
Mutyaba Travis imerged as the MVP, Henry Mwebe as the best goal keeper and Mawa Oscar as a top scorer as Uganda dominated the ranks across the board.
