Uganda Netball Federation (UNF) officials are in a dilemma after failing to secure a training facility for the national team, The She Cranes.
As such, the team missed a scheduled training session today, and it’s unclear when it will resume – for the Lugogo Indoor Stadium is hosting a nation junior boxing competition, while the nearby alternative hockey facility is too slippery, due the rainy weather and can easily cause injuries to players.

The She Cranes are preparing for the forthcoming Netball World Cup Championship, slated for July 12-21 in Liverpool, UK.
The team had kick-started preparations for the event at Lugogo but suspended training on Friday.
Despite an indefinite slap on training, the netballers’ governing body’s executive, is in top gear, in organizing off the pitch arrangements for the event.
UNF held an Extra Ordinary General Assembly at Kati-Kati Restaurant in Lugogo, at the weekend, passing a budget of over ugx5 billion, meant to facilitate the team’s smooth preparation.
The budget proposal was forwarded to government, sources revealed.
